What is this?

During the World Cup qualifications, social posts congratulated and welcomed each country as they successfully qualified for the World Cup in Brazil 2014. We created unique team-specific art out of everyday objects. Each image acts as a country's visual FIFA history, crafted with team-specific insights and clues that only die hard fans will recognize, but still something the everyday fan can enjoy and share to show support for their team.

Nicknamed the Flea, Lionel Messi is the best striker in the world. This image recreates his most famous play as he beat six defenders to score one of the best goals in football history.

Holland is known as "Clockwork Orange" for their near-perfect passing and integrated approach. They're also known as the best team that has never won a World Cup. Will '14 finally be their year?

The kanji character samurai-slashed into the paper background is Kizuna. It became the national team's motto after the tsunami, and means "strength comes from the ties that bind us together."

The Azzuri are famous for defense, defense, defense. They call this approach Catenaccio, which in English translates to a "defensive chain" of players.

The team from down under holds a very outlandish, and very celebrated, football record the most goals ever scored in an international match... 31 in total (versus Samoa in 2001).

The home of the beautiful game has already celebrated 5 World Cup victories. Talk to any Brazilian fan and they'll tell you that a 6th championship is an absolute certainty. Everyone else thinks otherwise.

USA

With a 4-4-1-1 formation of equally-talented stars, this American team has its best shot yet at a World Cup championship. Could USA actually pull it off? Well, the rest of the world laughed when they said they were going to the moon...
